Ångström Materials Academy and WISE host joint workshop on material recycling
On 17 September, Uppsala University’s Ångström Materials Academy (ÅMA) and the Wallenberg Initiative Material Science for Sustainability (WISE) will host a full-day workshop at the Ångström Laboratory in Uppsala.
The event will explore how material recycling can reduce resource use, strengthen supply chains, and accelerate the transition toward a more sustainable society.
The workshop program is organized around three themes:
- Design for circularity – from molecule to product
- Advanced separation and recycling processes
- Digital and data-driven circular solutions
Each theme will begin with presentations from both academia and industry – featuring Polestar, Stena Recycling, and Sandvik Coromant – followed by moderated discussions and interactive workshop sessions.
