Access
WISE additive is a national research infrastructure, and thus open to all researchers in Sweden.
New users will receive training on the instruments from our research engineers, but for smaller projects it will also be possible to engage the research engineer at an hourly basis to do work for a specific project. Users who have received training on instruments can thereafter book the equipment themselves. Booking rules apply to ensure a fair distribution of the equipment time between the projects.

Access for external users and projects
External projects, from industry, are accepted based on availability of resources. For accepted external projects equipment will be booked by the research engineer, under the same booking rules as internal projects. Different prices apply for external users.
Pricing
To finance the running of the labs and equipment, there are access fees. The fees are invoiced based on equipment booking, and are for academic users calculated to cover running costs including service and maintenance, rent, standard consumables, and user support. See respective node for specific pricing:
- Uppsala node - AM@Å
- Chalmers node - AM@Chalmers
- Linköping node - Täppan Cleanroom
Acknowledgements
When using the equipment funded from WISE the following acknowledgement must be given in research publications (and where else applicable)
The [specify the type] investigations performed in this work were carried out using [equipment], which was funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation via the WISE research program.
