So-called nature-based solutions (NbS) are increasingly recognised as cost-effective pathways for enhanced carbon dioxide removal, strengthened biodiversity and sustainable livelihoods. Friday's breakfast seminar addresses how current financing structures make it difficult for NbS initiatives to scale from individual projects into growing operations.

At this Friday’s breakfast seminar at UUniCORN, Neil Powell will discuss how the INNOFIN project plans to address the barriers to accessing finance that limit the implementation and scaling of nature-based solutions (NbS)

Please register by Tuesday, 10 February, at the latest to receive breakfast at the seminar. (You are, of course, welcome to just show up, but in that case, we cannot guarantee that there will be sandwiches left.)

Neil Powell is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Women's and Children's Health and the Centre for Health and Sustainability. He is also a Fellow at UUniCORN (Uppsala University Conflicting Objectives Research Nexus) and was instrumental in the process leading up to its establishment.
