How do ongoing wars and geopolitical crises intensify ecological and societal vulnerabilities? With a particular focus on Gaza, this hybridseminar explores resilience across macro, meso, and micro levels in these kinds of crises, and how higher education institutions sustain their functions as key societal actors.

A child studying on a mattress in Gaza.

In line with UUniCORN’s focus on addressing complex global challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration, this seminar brings together perspectives on how geopolitical crises intensify ecological and societal vulnerabilities. It examines how higher education institutions, as key societal actors, sustain their functions under prolonged disruption.

With a particular focus on Gaza, the seminar highlights lived experiences and institutional practices during continuous crisis. Together, these insights invite reflection on how reconstruction, academic practices, and international support can contribute to more sustainable and resilient futures.

This seminar can be joined on campus and on Zoom.

Please register no later than 14 April.
