Research
UUniCORN is a platform for interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and trans-disciplinary research on conflicting objectives related to sustainability transformations. The institute engages researchers from different disciplinary domains and non-academic stakeholders to move beyond siloed thinking by using transformative and co-created approaches.
UUniCORN is currently supporting six research initiatives through catalyst grants addressing different aspects of goal conflicts within sustainability transformations. The work methods and networks are currently under development and researchers at Uppsala University are invited to take part and engage. You can explore the various ongoing projects currently supported by UUniCORN below.
We also still have room for more initiatives. If you have other ideas and are interested in developing them, please explore our catalyst grant funding call.
