Opening hours "Valborg"/Walpurgis festivities 2025

The annual celebration of Valborg in Uppsala on 30 April will mean restrictions for us working at Ekonomikum and in Observatorieparken.

Ekonomikum will be closed to students from 16:00 on 29 April until 9:00 on 1 May. If the situation requires, we may have to close earlier and only students with seminars will be allowed in.
During this period, staff can enter through entrances A, B, C. Those of you working in FEK, Human Geography or Economic History can also enter through entrances D and E. Please note that all western entrances (F, G, H and I) will also be closed for exit during the above time. In the event of an emergency, evacuation will be possible via all entrances and emergency exits.
Houses 1 and 12 in Observatorieparken will be closed for everyone from 17:00 on 29 April to 8:00 on 1 May.

Both car parks will be closed from 28 April to 1 May to allow time for spring cleaning and installation of toilets.
The roads around the block will be closed to all car traffic on 30 April as shown on the attached map.
