On 24 April 2024, the Humanities and Social Sciences Disciplinary Domain Board decided on new security procedures for hosting visiting researchers and a new board for the Centre for Higher Education and Research as Objects of Study.
Security procedures for hosting visiting researchers
The Disciplinary Domain Board decided to introduce security procedures for hosting visiting researchers. The procedures do not entail much in the way of new content; instead, the aim is to make it easy to find information on security procedures in connection with decisions to host foreign visiting researchers.

New board for Centre for Higher Education and Research as Objects of Study (HERO)
On 24 April 2024, the Disciplinary Domain Board decided to appoint a new board for the Centre for Higher Education and Research as Objects of Study for the period 1 May 2024 to 30 April 2027.
In preparation for the decision, all faculties in the Disciplinary Domain of Humanities and Social Sciences, the two other disciplinary domains and the University Administration were invited to submit proposals for board members.

The students’ unions appoint one student representative to the board.
