From the Disciplinary Domain Board, 6 November
At a meeting on 6 November 2024, the Humanities and Social Sciences Disciplinary Domain Board decided on an internal consultation regarding student representation and an organisational move of CEMFOR.
Internal consultation on student representation
At the meeting of the board, the decision was taken to issue a statement in response to an internal consultation regarding student representation in electoral assemblies when preparing proposals for vice-rectors and deputy vice-rectors.
In its statement, the disciplinary domain board primarily recommends that students be given the opportunity to appoint a student representative to the electoral assembly’s nominating committee.
The three students present on the Area Committee entered a reservation against the decision.
