Uppsala University is now seeking suitable candidates for the role of director at the Anders Sandrew Institute for Culture and Creativity and at the Centre for Digital Humanities and Social Sciences. The deadline for applications is 31 December and 15 December, respectively.

Anders Sandrew Institute

The institute is newly established and will open 1 January 2026 with the aim of promoting innovative research and knowledge exchange in culture, creativity and artistic development.

The position of director will be at least 50 per cent of a full-time role. It is a three-year position and can be extended. The role will be part of the director's regular employment at Uppsala University.

Centre for Digital Humanities and Social Sciences

The centre will support the entire disciplinary domain by promoting research in digital humanities and social sciences, offering broad methodological support and acting as a support function for research infrastructures.

The position will be 50 per cent of full time. It is a three-year position and can be extended. The role will be part of the director's regular employment at Uppsala University. Starting date: 1 January 2026 or as agreed.
