The Constructive Alignment model is a key principle in higher education pedagogy. This lunchtime lecture will explore its implications – and alternative models that can be applied in medicine and pharmacy. In Swedish.

The model was developed by John Biggs in the 1990s and is now a central principle for planning teaching and learning in higher education. It links learning outcomes, teaching methods and assessment, and is widely used in pedagogical contexts.

However, it is only one of several possible models. This lecture will discuss its epistemological and ideological implications, as well as alternative approaches to conceptualising teaching in medicine and pharmacy.
