Two weeks left to nominate teachers for internationalisation prize
Nominate the teacher or team of teachers at the Faculty of Medicine at Uppsala University whom you believe has made a special effort to increase the international dimension of medical education. You are free to nominate yourself and your own team.
Nominate yourself, your colleague or your teaching team no later than 29 February 2024
The medical faculties of Sweden want to reward teachers who have contributed to the increasing internationalisation of education and who have brought a greater global perspective to their teaching. The prize is SEK 140 000 and will be awarded every two years from 2024 (annually during 2017-2022).
Examples of initiatives for the internationalisation of education
- Develop new forms of teaching adapted to an international classroom
- Promote students’ adaptation to a global labour market
- Develop courses/programmes with English as the language of instruction as part of an international curriculum
- Establish virtual mobility and exchange through Internationalisation at Home
- Successfully integrate international students in courses and programmes
- Initiate international collaborations and projects
- Implement interprofessional education in international projects, courses and learning activities
- Promote student and staff mobility
Who can you nominate?
If you are employed or affiliated to Uppsala University, you can nominate yourself, other teachers or teams of teachers at the Faculty of Medicine at Uppsala University. Students can nominate teachers or teams of teachers at Uppsala University’s Faculty of Medicine.
