Open call for CAGs for increased interaction between clinical, translational and basic science researchers
Application deadline: 14 November, 2025
The Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy, together with Uppsala University Hospital and Region Uppsala, is announcing funding opportunities to establish CAGs as part of strengthening translational research in Uppsala. The aim of establishing CAGs is to develop new constellations for researchers who are working within the same subject area but with different focuses to come together to solve a patient-related health or disease problem.
Each CAG should have a leader and a co-leader, with one being a clinical researcher and the other oriented to basic science. Awarded CAGs will receive up to SEK 2 million per year for a maximum of 4 years, which can be used to support, for example, doctoral students or postdocs.
The applications will be evaluated by an international panel.
