USN announces up to five ST blocks

The University Medical Board Executive Committee (USN) announces up to five research ST blocks. Each block includes four months of full-time research per year for a maximum of four years.
At the time of appointment, applicants may already hold an ST position at Uppsala University Hospital, but at least three years must remain of the ST period. Applicants who do not currently hold an ST position at Uppsala University Hospital must attach a certificate from the relevant head of operations. The certificate must confirm that an ST position will be offered if the applicant is awarded a research ST block.
If the applicant is expected to complete their doctoral degree before the end of the ST period, a brief research plan for continued research during the ST period must be attached. Doctoral students are required to be doctoral students at Uppsala University.
