USN announces grants for postdoctoral months and research months in 2026
Application period: 30 October – 16 November 2025
To facilitate the attainment of docent competence, the University Medical Board Executive Committee (USN) has decided to announce central ALF funding for research time.
The call covers two types of grants:
- Postdoctoral months for clinical researchers who obtained their doctoral degree within the last five years
- Researcher months in national highly specialised care (NHV) for clinical researchers who obtained their doctoral degree more than five years ago.
The call is open to all healthcare professions. To be eligible, applicants must be employed by Region Uppsala for at least 50%, and have obtained a doctoral degree but not yet attained docent competence.
