Recently, we launched the LinkedIn account “Medicin och farmaci vid Uppsala universitet” – a new external channel to increase the visibility of the Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy.

The account will highlight research achievements, awards and distinctions, events and researcher profiles. It’s a part of our long-term efforts to strengthen our visibility among industry, research funders and other external stakeholders.
The initiative has been prepared by the communications team at the Faculty Office for Medicine and Pharmacy and is based on an analysis of how the Disciplinary Domain can use LinkedIn more strategically to reach relevant target audiences.
“We see that a social media channel will strengthen the visibility of Medfarm and can also help drive traffic to our existing web channels. The research conducted within the Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy is both innovative and of significant societal importance, and we naturally want to present it in the strongest possible way,” says Robin Widing, Communications Officer at the Faculty Office for Medicine and Pharmacy.
