A teaching portfolio is a compilation of your teaching qualifications. The teaching portfolio is to be included when you apply for a new position or promotion in academia, and for the title of Excellent Teacher. This is a way of assessing the teaching expertise.
The Unit for Teaching and Learning is now providing recurring activities for support in the writing of your teaching portfolio. This second occasion is for you who wish to have feedback on a draft of your teaching portfolio.
Step 2: Teaching portfolio development
- General feedback on the teaching portfolio aimed at all participants
- Reading of teaching portfolios from other participants
- Mutual feedback within collaborative groups
- Individual feedback on teaching portfolios from the workshop leaders
- Discussion on the assessment of teaching qualifications.
This workshop is aimed towards teachers or other personnel at Uppsala university who would like to further develop their teaching portfolio.
Language: English, with possibility to use Swedish during discussions and collaborative work in groups.
