Interdisciplinary conversations about humanity: A seminar series organised with support from the Department of Philosophy and funded by CIRCUS

Welcome to a seminar series intended to explore our common humanity, and to begin creating an interdisciplinary constructive vision of humanity’s future.

At each seminar, three researchers from different scientific fields will illuminate the topic from their own disciplinary perspective and engage in further conversation with each other and the audience.

Sandwiches, fruit, tea and coffee will be served.

If you already want to register for some or all seminars, please fill in the form.

During Autumn 2024, the seminars will have the following topics:

  • 7th October, 13:00-14:30: Sustainability, values and awareness: for humanity and for our planet
  • 11th November, 13:00-14:30: Aesthetic knowledge and aesthetic learning processes
  • 9th December, 13:00-14:30: Emotions: how can we cope with them – alone and together?

Save the date(s)!

We are looking forward to welcoming you at the seminar series!

Taeda Tomić and Nicholas Wiltsher, The Department of Philosophy
