The Vice-Chancellor invites students, doctoral students and staff to an open seminar to discuss and provide feedback on the proposed revised University Mission, Goals and Strategies.
In the document Mission, Goals and Strategies, Uppsala University formulates its goals and ambitions for education and research. The document covers the next five years and sets out what we want to be and what the University’s priorities are.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor Coco Norén will present the proposal and lead the discussion on how to move forward.
We will start with coffee/tea, Lucia buns and gingerbread at 15:00. The seminar starts at 15:15.
You are welcome to comment, ask questions and highlight what you think is important.
Open to staff and students. No prior registration required.
The seminar will be held in Swedish.
Programme
- The Vice-Chancellor welcomes everyone and makes introductory remarks under the heading: “Why do we need a Mission, Goals and Strategies?”
- Presentation of the proposal and how we have developed the document, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Coco Norén.
- Opportunity to comment, discuss and ask questions, moderated by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Coco Norén.
- The Vice-Chancellor sums up and comments on the way forward.
