Programme
07:00: Cannon salute from Uppsala Castle
08:00: The Uppsala Cathedral bells are rung
12:00: Conferment for all of the nine faculties in the Grand Auditorium of Uppsala University. Uppsala University’s symphony orchestra, The Royal Academic Orchestra, will play throughout the ceremony. The orchestra has played at the University’s ceremonies since 1637.
The ceremony involves cannon salutes at intervals between 12:45–15:00. All seats should be taken by 12:00. Tickets can be collected free of charge outside the Grand Auditorium from 10:00 on the day of the Conferment Ceremony.
