The Vice-Chancellor will host a discussion about national and international trends in the evaluation of research and how the University should navigate in this broader ‘evaluation landscape’.

Research is evaluated in various ways and with differing focus, both by external actors and in self-initiated evaluations at Uppsala University. The seminar will provide an orientation in the overall research evaluation landscape and an in-depth look at the University’s own research evaluation Quality and Renewal 2024 (Q&R24). What is evaluated and why? How can the evaluations be made as meaningful as possible in relation to the effort involved?

Coffee will be served at 14:30. The seminar starts at 14:45. No prior registration.
