Working with language: panel discussion with authors of children's and young adult literature, for anyone studying languages

On October 6th, we are convening a panel of authors addressing the theme of language in relation to children's and young adult literature. This is to mark International Children's Day. The panel will discuss how authors of children's and young adult literature use language to engage their readers through their books. Moderator is Ulrika Sahlin Åkerstedt, a study counselor with a commitment to intercultural communication.

Our panel is Kerstin Ekholm (award-winning high school teacher and author), Maria Frensborg (originally a language teacher, now a full-time author with exciting book collaborations), Kalle Landegren (author as well as cartoonist, illustrator and artist) and Hillevi Torell (Faculty of Languages alumnus, psychotherapist specializing in children and adolescents and children's book author)
