Teaching in the classroom - Teaching with blackboard

With so many digital tools available for teaching, what place do blackboards have? What are the advantages and disadvantages of "chalk and talk"?

Blackboards can be a versatile tool in lectures, problem sessions and other teaching activities, offering unique advantages for the students' learning, when done properly. In this seminar, we will discuss how to use the blackboard in your teaching. What do you need to think about when using a blackboard? What are proper techniques? What are some old and new ways to use the blackboard?
