A teaching portfolio, sometimes called pedagogical portfolio, is a way to describe you teaching qualifications. Even if you as a PhD student may have limiited teaching experience, it can be very useful to start writing on a teaching portfolio.
You can:
- develop your teaching skills by reflecting on why you teach like you do, the results you get, and how you can develop.
- highlight the useful skills you have acquired during teaching, no matter your future career choice.
- gather your merits for potential future applications to academic positions.
This seminar is targeted towards PhD students. You will learn about the basic structure of a teaching portfolio and get tips on how to write an interesting one.
Welcome!
