Celsius-Linnaeus Lectures

Each year the Faculty of Science and Technology arranges the Celsius-Linnaeus honorary lectures in memory of Anders Celsius and Carl von Linné. The selected Celsius-Linnaeus lecturers are chosen since they are at today’s forefront of research within their fields and the lectures are given for a general audience of scientists and students within the University. Since 1991, when the lectures started, eleven of the Celsius-Linnaeus lecturers have been awarded a Nobel Prize.
