Nominate important technological advances
Every year, The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) make a compilation of the most important advances and breakthroughs that have taken place on the technology front in Sweden during the past year. It could be technology-related research, innovations or the development of ready-made technical solutions that can be of great importance to society.
IVA is grateful for our help in finding advances at Uppsala University that we think they should highlight in this year's compilation.
Nominate via this form, no later than April 30th.
To qualify for IVA's list, advances must:
1. Have a clear connection to technology of some kind.
2. Be able to contribute to solving a problem, or create opportunities that in the long run can be of concrete benefit to society.
3. Have been done in Sweden, or in a context where Swedish researchers or companies have been involved.
4. Have occurred or been published after June 2023.
5. Be able to be verified in some way, preferably via a link to a scientific publication, or another source where it is possible to read more about the progress in question and where it is clear who is behind it (university/department/responsible researcher/company/contact person)
Questions about the form should be emailed to redaktion@iva.se.
IVA's compilation of the year's most important advances in technology in Sweden will be presented at the Academy's annual meeting at Stockholm City Hall in October. It will also be recorded and can be viewed afterwards on www.iva.se.
