Do you want to help create a short open course that contributes to Sweden's green transition?

Through the Short Courses for Professionals initiative, the government wants to increase the skills of professionals in the field of green transition. For 2025, Uppsala University has a planned budget for open courses of SEK 7.5 million. Registration is now open for those who want to create a short course.
The aim of the courses is to provide knowledge and skills to support the transition to a fossil-free energy system. The open courses will provide participants with concrete knowledge and skills that can contribute to the green transition.
Information on the call and how to apply
Funding for the course
You can apply for SEK 250 000 to develop and implement a course. The funds are for course development and to deliver the course on at least one occasion.
The design/structure of the course is not specified but can be e.g. MOOC, course with digital teaching or pre-recorded digital teaching material combined with digital teaching. The initiative is intended to test and design forms of teaching that are suitable for the target group of professionals.
