At the moment there are two different calls where you can apply for funding for course development in lifelong learning. One call is for standalone courses that will be offered as part of the faculty's lifelong learning program, and the other call is specifically for short courses on green transition.
Development of independent courses within the LLL offering
The purpose of this call for proposals is to enable the development of independent courses within lifelong learning (LLL), aimed at professionals, with courses starting in autumn 2026 or spring 2027. The courses must meet the requirements for LLL and be part of the Faculty of Science and Technology's course package in the area. The teacher or group of teachers who develop a course can receive SEK 80,000 in development funds.
The call for proposals offers the opportunity to develop courses based on requests from the faculty's reference group for lifelong learning, but also to develop other courses.
The deadline for applications is October 10.
Development of short courses in green transition
Through the Short Courses for Professionals initiative, the government aims to increase the competence of professionals in the field of green transition. The purpose is to provide knowledge and skills that support the transition to a fossil-free energy system.
In this call for proposals, it is possible to apply for the development of non-credit courses to be offered as open courses in 2026, with a start date no later than November 1, 2026. You can apply for SEK 250,000 to develop and implement a course.
The deadline for applications is October 15.
