Showcase your research in just 3 minutes
Are you a PhD student eager to share your research far and wide, while also competing for the possibility to present in Bologna and Aarhus? Join us on Friday, March 21, at the University Main Building for the Uppsala University 3MT competition.
As a participant, you’ve got a brief three minutes to dazzle the audience with a crystal-clear and inspiring presentation. You are allowed one PowerPoint slide, but no other props or media is allowed. The presentation will be in English. This year we also provide a workshop where you get to practice and refine your presentation. The workshop will take place on March 7 at 13.15 in the same venue as the competition.
Express your interest by 19 March 2025.
By participating in the Uppsala University 3MT event, you will be requested to have a live presentation in front of a Uppsala University jury, the presentation will be recorded and then shared with our international partners for further evaluation. Finalists who are selected by the international jury will go on to represent Uppsala University in international competitions hosted by Coimbra Group, SANORD, and Matariki.
The Coimbra competition is in Bologna, Italy June 12, the SANORD competition takes place in Aarhus, Denmark August 12-14, and the Matariki competition is hosted online in October. Uppsala University will send one finalist to each competition.
As described, this is a three stage competition - If you make it through the local Uppsala University contest, you will be evaluated by an international jury in three different networks, and then be competing for one of the three final spots in the international competitions.
