Autumn networking breakfasts with UU Innovation and guests
Christel Bergström, Alireza Malehmir, and Anne-Sofie Nyström will be guest speakers at this autumn’s networking breakfasts hosted by UU Innovation.
Curious about how research results can be developed into new methods, products or services with broader impact? This autumn, UU Innovation invites you to a series of networking breakfasts where you’ll meet colleagues who have taken their ideas beyond the lab – and share experiences over breakfast and coffee.
Across three events, you’ll hear short inspirational talks from researchers at Uppsala University who are turning academic insights into real-world innovation and societal value. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with others who are exploring similar paths.
This autumn’s speakers:
- 12 September: Christel Bergström – Professor of Molecular Pharmaceutics with extensive experience in drug development in close collaboration with industry. She is also active in innovation through patents, startups and business development.
- 10 October: Alireza Malehmir – Professor of Geophysics and award-winning innovator, recognised for developing a technology that helps map what lies deep underground in complex environments.
- 14 November: Anne-Sofie Nyström – Senior Lecturer and researcher in Child and Youth Studies, and co-founder of Love Science, an initiative that inspires more young people to pursue STEM through inclusive stories and learning materials.
Breakfast is served from 08:00. Talks begin around 08:15 and wrap up by 09:00. You're warmly welcome to listen, ask questions and make new connections!
