The current network grant is a planning grant for a forthcoming call for grants to establish clusters of excellence for breakthrough technologies.
The grant period is 6 months starting in October 2025. First payment will be made in October 2025 at the earliest
By 31 March 2026 at the latest, the grant shall be reported back to the Swedish Research Council in the form of a report (max. 20 pages) that can be used as a planning basis both by the authors for future applications and by the Swedish Research Council as a basis for the design of future calls for clusters of excellence for ground-breaking technology.
Planning material for the cluster of excellence will ultimately be able to be translated into an application in the next call, which will open in 2026. It is not necessary to have previously submitted an outline application to be able to apply for the grant. However, the researchers' reports will be important for the design of the call.
