Grants Day is an annual event organised by Uppsala University's joint research support.
This year, the event is focusing on the Swedish Government's Research and Innovation bill that came out at the end of last year. The message from the bill is that a clear focus on excellence is required for Swedish research to be competitive, that internationalisation and mobility are important means to achieve the highest quality and that the Swedish business community should be a hotbed for innovation. What does all this mean for Uppsala University? How can we build excellence – both in the short and long term, for both young and senior researchers?
How do Swedish governmental funders view their mission related to the research bill? All this will be addressed, as well as how established researchers from all three disciplinary domains have succeeded with their research funding.
Grants Day 2025 aims at research funding, inspiration and networking.
