Get publicity for your research

Applications for the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) 100 list 2024 are now open. Securing a spot on this list can boost the visibility of your research, expand your network within the business community, and enhance the readiness for innovation of your research. Apply by 15 August.

For the sixth year in a row, IVA is looking for candidates for inclusion on its 100 list, which highlights current and promising research projects at Swedish universities and research institutes. As a researcher, you have the opportunity to apply for a place on the list, which aims to increase the potential for research results to be utilised through connections with industry, public administration, and other stakeholders.

Innovation through interdisciplinarity
The theme of this year's list is interdisciplinarity. Projects must be rooted in engineering or economics and work across disciplines to solve current societal challenges and strengthen the competitiveness of the business community.

The scientific quality of the research is a prerequisite for qualifying for the 100 list. In addition, special emphasis will be placed on the researcher's or research team's stated ambition to commercialise or otherwise exploit the results.

The deadline for applications is 15 August. The 2024 100 list will be announced in November.
