Apply to organise a Research Theme at the ACCESS Forum
It is now possible to apply to organise a Research Theme at the upcoming ACCESS Forum, which will take place in Concepción, Chile, from 12-16 January 2026. By leading a Research Theme, you will have the opportunity to shape and lead research discussions on shared challenges faced by both Sweden and Chile, working closely with researchers from both countries.
The ACCESS Forum offers researchers a valuable opportunity to expand their networks, develop innovative solutions, and establish long-term collaborations.
The SDGs selected for the 2026 forum are:
- UN SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being
- UN SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
- UN SDG 13: Climate Action
- UN SDG 14: Life Below Water
- UN SDG 15: Life on Land
Applications are welcomed from researchers with existing collaborations, as well as those looking to explore new partnerships and collaborations.

Applications must be submitted in partnership with a colleague from a Chilean university that is part of ACCESS. Need assistance finding a new partner? Please contact Fanny Lagerberg.
Application deadline: 17 November 2024
