MAW Project Grants
The Marcus and Amalia Wallenberg Memorial Foundation (MAW) mainly supports research projects with high scientific potential within the humanities. Prioritized projects include new research areas and research of a cross-border nature.
The foundation supports projects of high scientific potential that focus on a coherent scientific question. A project should have an independent objective and not only constitute additional funding for ongoing projects.
A normal project has a budget between SEK 1 and 5 million during three to five years.

There is currently no open call. When the Foundation opens a new call for proposals, this page will be updated with more information about the internal nomination process at Uppsala University.
