Studio as a Learning Environment – Studio Blåsenhus (Rum för lärande)

Studio Blåsenhus is a place where the meeting between pedagogy, technology, and the user is in focus. The facility supports Uppsala University's education and research with effective, innovative, and forward-looking solutions.

Welcome to a two-part study visit at Studio Blåsenhus!

In the first part, you will get an overview of the studio and its different positions (lecture position, learning glass, lounge corner, and podcast), along with examples of recordings and studio activities from previous users. In addition, you will take part in our specially developed workshop concept “Bäst i Test – Studio Edition,” where, in a playful way and in groups, you will explore the different positions in the studio. “Bäst i Test – Studio Edition” has been greatly appreciated by previous participants in studio visits.

In the second part, we focus on “Studio as a Learning Environment,” meaning how a studio at a university can be used as a learning space for students. Over the years, we have hosted a number of student projects in Studio Blåsenhus, ranging from podcasts and video recordings to student-led live broadcasts. We see that students highly appreciate this type of learning opportunity and that it supports their learning. But how did it all begin, where are we now, and how can we develop this together with you? Let us take you on the journey from “No, unfortunately” to “More, everywhere, all the time!”
