Planned interruption for editing profile pages

Starting on 24 March, the underlying system for managing profile pages is planning to be changed. The profile pages have remained in the old system for the Staff Portal/MP (Liferay), but will now be managed in Sitevision.
This means that you will not be able to make changes to your profile page for a period of time.
It is expected that you will be able to edit your profile page again on 28 March.

Language versions
Previously, for unfilled text fields, such as "Biography", on your English profile page, the text you filled in for the corresponding text field on your Swedish profile page was displayed on your English profile page, and vice versa.
With the change of system, the text fields that are not filled in, regardless of the language version, will now remain empty until you fill them in.
Images
Images (imported from MP/Liferay) that have not been marked as public or not, are assumed to be for internal use and will not be published externally.
Order of positions (for those who have several positions at Uppsala University)
If you have previously chosen a position as primary in MP, that choice is retained. However, if you have not made this choice, it may be time to review your profile page to see that the order is as you wish. Jobs without an active choice will be listed in alphabetical order of job title.
Publications
- Publications are displayed in three different modes: “Selection of…”, “Recent” and “All”
- Choose which publications to display (preferably a maximum of around 10)
Do you have publications in DiVA that are not shown on your profile page? For your publications to appear, they must be registered to you (your username) in DiVA. Publications where you have the role of supervisor or examiner are not shown. If you have recently added a publication to DiVA, it may take some time before it appears.
