Data from Studium may have been leaked

The provider of the Canvas learning platform has been hacked. It has not yet been confirmed that Uppsala University has been affected, but it is likely that data such as the names and email addresses of students and staff who have used Studium (which is built on Canvas) may be included in the leaked information.
The learning platform provider is currently investigating what has happened and assessing what data may have been compromised. The University’s IT department is in regular contact with the provider.
