Help out with Mental Health Week this autumn

The aim of Mental Health Week is to inform, inspire and combat the stigma surrounding mental health issues, as well as to highlight the parts of the university that work to promote student wellbeing. Photo: Mikael Wallerstedt, Uppsala University.
Mental Health Week will once again take place this autumn, from 5 to 9 October 2026. The Student Health Service is looking for staff who want to help contribute to student well-being.
This year’s Mental Health Week (MHW) takes place from 5–9 October – a week during which we come together to focus on the mental health of our students.
Would you like to give a talk, run a workshop, lead a panel discussion, or organize another activity on the theme of health/mental health? Or do you have a suggestion for someone who would be a good fit for the event? No topic is too big or too small.
Take a look at last year’s Mental Health Week schedule
Student Health Services will post the week’s schedule, handle marketing, brainstorm your idea and discuss venue, time, etc.
We’d like a mix of Swedish and English, in-person, hybrid, Zoom, Visby and Uppsala.
Get in touch to let us know you’re interested now, or by 5 June at the latest: halsopedagog-sh@uu.se
