New guidelines for purchasing and procurement

The guidelines for purchasing and procurement have been revised and took effect on 1 May 2024. The new guidelines describe how the University should manage purchasing and procurement. Updated features compared to previous versions include:

• Adaptation to new legislation, in particular the Public Procurement Act, LOU (2016:1145)
• That each organisational unit must have a purchasing coordinator
• The importance of agreement management and specifying who the agreement manager is
• How to carry out a direct procurement, including raising the direct procurement threshold from SEK 50,000 to SEK 100,000
