Gender Mainstreaming Funds
SEK 300,000 is announced for special initiatives regading gender mainstreaming.
Employees and students are welcome to apply for funding for gender mainstreaming.
An individual application can amount to a maximum of SEK 150,000.
The application has to be submitted no later than April 16 2025.
Applications regarding efforts/projects that concern one or more areas in previous gender mainstreaming plans and/or goals in the current plan may be prioritised.

Important to consider before applying
- Please read the instructions before applying. To apply please use the intended Application Form.
- For students, student associations and student unions applying for funding, the application must be signed by the department/faculty/equivalent that will administer fees and other financial transactions.
- The application has to be signed by both the applicant and the applicant’s head/equivalent.
Tips
If the intention is to employ an external lecturer, it is good if the proposed lecturer is named.
If the application is for a series of seminars with tentative topics and speakers, it is good to include the topics and speakers in the application.
An informative and detailed budget increases the chances of the application being approved.
Submit the application
An application signed by the applicant and the applicant's head of department/equivalent can be scanned and sent as a PDF via e-mail to
ann-sofie.wigg-bodin@uu.se until 5 pm April 16 2025.
The application may also be signed with a digital signature. If it is digitally signed by both the applicant and the applicant's head of department or equivalent, there is not necessary to send the original document by post.
