To ensure we have the best possible conditions to deliver the requested IT equipment by the start of the autumn term, we kindly ask you to submit your orders no later than Thursday, June 18.

Employees at the university can order IT equipment using the form below.
If you want to order equipment that is not listed under the recommended IT equipment, select the option "Other" in the form and describe your needs in the field "Comment to the IT purchaser."
You will then be contacted to discuss alternatives. However, this may result in longer delivery times or additional costs for installation and support.
Recommended IT equipment
Your need – PC or Mac?
A laptop PC is the primary recommended option. PCs are the most compatible with, for example, the administrative systems used by the University Administration.
Macs are more expensive to purchase than PCs. The main criteria for choosing a Mac is that the employee has tasks or assignments that require specific Mac software or workflows. Another valid reason is if the employee becomes significantly more efficient in their work by using a Mac.

Delivery information
The delivery time from when you place your order until your IT equipment is delivered is approximately three weeks. If you customize your order with products outside the recommended range, the delivery time may be extended.
Your address in the university directory determines where your order will be delivered. Computers are delivered to your nearest service points (see here for opening hours), while other equipment is sent directly to you.
If you wish to change the delivery address, please indicate this in the "Comment to IT purchaser" field.

Why Recommended IT Equipment?
The purpose of the recommended IT equipment is to provide well-functioning equipment for the university. Recommended IT equipment can be kept in stock and delivered more quickly. This increases the ability to provide better support and service for the IT equipment. It also simplifies inventory management and cost oversight for managers and employees.
The products have been selected based on the following criteria:
- Good quality and functionality at a reasonable price.
- An expected technical lifespan of approximately five years for computers and monitors.
- Reliable support from the manufacturer throughout the entire lifespan.
If you have other needs, specify them in your order and you will receive assistance from an administrator to find products that meet your requirements.
