Rename MFA keys in Microsoft Authenticator
Rename your MFA keys in the Microsoft Authenticator app.
Step 1
Open the "Microsoft Authenticator" app on your phone.
The MFA key that you have configured for your user account has the default name "Uppsala universitet" followed by your AKKA ID (for example xxxxx123).
The MFA key you set up for Collaborative Spaces in SharePoint Online has the default name "Uppsala universitet" followed by your email address.
Begin by clicking the key you want to rename.

Click the gear icon in the top right corner.
Step 3
Click "Account name".
Step 4
Enter the new name you want for your MFA key and click "Done".
Step 5
You can now see the new name for your MFA key. Click the arrow icon in the upper left corner to exit the MFA key settings widow. Now you can use the MFA key as usual.
