This workshop brings together world-leading geneticists and archaeologists working with Indo-European questions.
Until the groundbreaking aDNA results from 2015 onwards, there was no agreement with regards to how the spread of Indo-European languages, cultures and religions took place. It is now clear that the main spread was caused by migration of people and not cultural evolution and diffusion, but the overall picture is still highly complicated. Today, Indo-European research is a highly innovative and dynamic field of research and state-of-art research will be presented and discussed at the workshop.
