The Coordinator Club brings together coordinators and research administrators from inter- and multidisciplinary centres, infrastructures, and other organisational units at Uppsala University.
The aim of the club is to provide a meeting space for administrative staff to discuss the challenges and share experiences associated with coordinating research.
The meeting in November will focus on financial management. We have invited Birgitta Magnusson, controller at Uppsala University, to share insights on topics such as: If a center receives funding from multiple faculties and the Vice Chancellor, how is that managed? How does it work when a center needs to pay salaries to employees who are employed at different departments within different faculties, is there a process for this? and what central resources are there when questions cannot be handled locally? In addition, we may address issues related to reporting back to the Swedish Research Council.
