Evening at the Library – A Reading of the Guta Saga

Welcome to an evening at the library with the Student Health Service and Uppsala University Library, where we read you the myth on how the first settlers came to Gotland.
The Guta Saga was first written in the early 13th century and tells us the story on the most important events in early Gotlandic history. The Saga will be read to you in Old Gotlandic as well as in English.
Feel free to bring a nice, warm beverage and get cozy, as we dimmer the lights and tell you the story of Gotland. The reading will be held in Hörnan in Almedalen Library. Attendants will be let in through the main library entrance.
