Film screening ”Outgrow the system”

“Change the system, not the climate” is commonly heard, but what does it actually mean? Meet the new economic perspectives that have the potential to change the world at its core. Please join us for a screening of the Outgrow the System documentary to learn more about how we can transition to a more sustainable economic system.
The aim of the film is to democratise the conversation around the economy, ecology, and democracy. Economics should be a topic accessible to all, not confined to experts. The goal is to empower viewers to engage in discussions about economic models and to foster hope that change is not only possible, but already underway.
Where: Lecture hall E22 at the Almedalsbiblioteket

This event is a collaboration between the library and the Master’s programme in Sustainable Management and is open to all – both the University and the public.
The one-hour film will be followed by a Q&A session held by the film director Cecilia Paulsson and Jennifer Hinton, a researcher in the field of sustainable economy who specialises on the relationship between profit and sustainability and who was involved in the film making.
