New Inspectors Installed at the Gotland Student Union Rindi
On Friday, 17 April, Rindi’s first Inspector, Joshua Jovrud, and Pro‑Inspector, Mathias Cöster, were formally installed during a special ceremony known as an inspector installation, held at Rindiborgen.
Joshua Jovrud is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Game Design. His work focuses on the intersection of two fields: within developmental psychology, he seeks to understand how children learn about the world by studying the social-cognitive processes involved in development. In games research, he explores how different players (with different traits and experiences) interact with various game mechanisms and how they, in turn, are affected by game experiences.
Mathias Cöster is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Business Studies. His research focuses on digitalisation and the relationship between pricing models, business models, and business ecosystems, as well as organisational governance in relation to achieving sustainability goals. He is involved in Uppsala University’s Graduate School in Sustainable Development (GRASS). In addition, he is active in various contexts outside the university, including as a board member of the business association Tillväxt Gotland.
The Inspectorate is one of the student union’s most important and influential bodies. It typically consists of university teachers who oversee the organisation and contribute to continuity, support the presidium, and represent the student union in relation to the university and the local community.
The term of office for the newly appointed Inspector and Pro‑Inspector runs from now until 2029.
We at Campus Gotland wish them every success in their new roles!
