Join Carmen Lungu, a linguist and cultural scholar turned startup founder, as she shares her journey from humanities studies to the world of innovation, and how personal growth happens when you work on your ideas. Welcome to an inspirational lecture on how small steps, openness, and persistence can lead to something greater.
Entrepreneurship isn't about being born with a business idea – it's about daring to believe in your growth. So, how do you develop as a person when working on your ideas? Carmen Lungu will talk about the invisible transformation from a linguist and cultural scholar to an entrepreneur, and how she learned to recognise her strengths where she least expected them. She will share insights on how to boost your self-esteem, manage uncertainty, and set realistic goals, both in your studies and career.

About Carmen Lungu
Carmen is the co-founder of the language training app LingoBerry and has worked in cultural diplomacy. Today, she works as a project coordinator at UU Innovation, helping students at Uppsala University to realise their ideas.
