Teaching
Courses at the Department of Economic History do not have any formal roll-call. If you are taking a course, you are expected to attend the lectures to not miss out on important information and knowledge needed to pass the course. Seminars are mandatory. If you have questions about your course, contact the teacher.

Online course in study strategies
To get the most out of your university education, it is important to develop good study habits. The course Guide to Study Strategies is an online non-credit course, where you study independently. The course offers advice on how to plan your studies, note-taking techniques and academic writing, for example.

Ladok contains information about your study participation, grades and eventually your degree.

Withdrawing your admission
If you have accepted your place but are no longer interested in it, it is important to let us know you won't be attending that course or programme. If you don't wish to keep your place and are not yet registered, you should decline your offer on antagning.se.
Discontinuation of studies
If you decide after you already registered you must register you discontinuation in Ladok.
If you discontinue within three weeks after starting the course and do not have any results, you may apply and be admitted to the course again. If you discontinue after three weeks, you do not have the right to take the course at a later time but it may be possible to be re-registered subject to availability.
Use of AI tools
Generative AI is not allowed, including to generate narrative, descriptive or analytical text. Relying on AI tools during the course will directly affect your ability to succeed in your exams or written assignments. Ensure to do the reading yourself, take good notes yourself, and participate in the seminar discussions.
