PhD position in grid connection of renewable energy systems

At the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Division of Electricity we are now looking for a PhD candidate for an exciting research project on renewable energy systems.

As a PhD in this project, you will research the impact of connecting renewable energy to the grid and evaluate the different technologies behind it.

You will investigate the interaction between one or several generators and the grid, as well as optimize the control of the turbine in terms of energy extraction and safe operation of the device.

We have an exciting work environment designed by the doctoral student and the research team together.
